Guiding Our Youth Through Troubling Times: A Christian Approach to Mental Health, Family, and Connection
Are you the parent or caregiver of a sixth through twelfth grader? Please consider joining us in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, March 23, for a mental health seminar from Karen Won, MA, LPC, NCC. We will enjoy a pizza dinner, hear the presentation, and have a time of Q&A. We will gather from 5-7PM which allows youth to engage with peers in Youth Group, while parents and caregivers attend. Dinner will be served on the front end of our time together and we will begin the presentation around 5:20PM.
Karen Won, MA, LPC, NCC, is serving as a volunteer intern with us for the first months of 2025. Ms. Won is a committed Christian who has a passion for the intersection of our faith and mental health. This is the focus of her doctoral dissertation. Ms. Won has been supporting our Monday evening Mental Health community. She is a marvelous resource for our church family.
