Advent at VPC

Merry Christmas! We celebrate the Advent Season with events for all ages.  There are many opportunities during this season to invite others – family, friends, and neighbors – to experience the hope and joy that we share as a church family, rejoicing in the birth of Christ.

Devotions

Join us as walk through the Christmas season together with our Advent Devotional. This year we are asking every one – of every age and stage of life – to join us as we journey through the Christmas season reflecting on Christ throughout Scripture. The Advent segment of the daily devotions is the “Jesse Tree” and there are simple patterns to create your own Jesse Tree ornaments each day, or you can use the ones provided as a visual reminder of your journey to Christmas! We pray that you will make time in your daily schedule to step into the presence of God and prepare your hearts to make room for our Savior. Copies are available in the Narthex or Sign up here to receive the daily devotional in your inbox.  We invite families to participate by downloading pre-drawn ornaments to cut out and place on your tree, or have your children color their own to place on your tree.  Jesse Tree Ornaments or Color your own.
