Become a Member through New Member Classes
The winter 2019 session is Sunday 2/24, 3/3 & 3/10 from 10:45 am-12:00 pm. Register here.
Our three part classes explore what it means to be a part of VPC’s mission of Becoming like Christ Together for the World. Each of our pastors addresses one of three commitments to: the person of Christ, the body of Christ and the work of Christ.
Joining VPC is one tangible way of living into these three essential commitments. It is a way for you to deepen your commitment to Christ and His church. We urge you take the next step in your personal journey with Christ.
What Does it Mean to be a Member?
The mission at Vienna Presbyterian is Becoming Like Christ Together for the World. Choosing to become a member is choosing to identify with this mission, committing to faith in Jesus Christ and applying it through active participation in the community. As we connect in this local family of Christians, we look to God to change us so that we can in turn change the world with the Gospel. We are excited about what God is doing at VPC and hope you’ll join us in this mission!
Is Membership Required to Attend Here?
No. Everyone is welcome to worship and participate in the VPC community! Because the primary requirement for membership is that you profess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to explore faith and consider becoming a member at another time if you are unsure of what you believe. If you would like to learn more about what it means to believe in and follow Christ, you are welcome to take these classes without becoming a member. VPC also offers Bible studies and events to help you explore faith.
