Parent Resources

we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. Psalm 78:4

We believe that parents are the primary influence on their child’s faith and are committed to partnering with you through every age and stage. When the church and the family work together to raise the next generation, we are living out our God-given calling to pass on the faith.

Grades 1-3 Doorways to Worship

A time for children to praise the Lord with all their hearts and souls through music, scripture and a Bible message. This worship experience will be 20 minutes after the start of the service once the Children’s Blessing has taken place and the children will be brought up to the 3rd floor. This worship experience will be at the 9:00 & 11:10am worship hours.

10:10am
Pre-K-6th Grade “Gospel Project” God’s Big Story

Using dramatic presentation and small group activities, Bible stories are taught to all children in a way that will allow them to learn about the Jesus and the Story of how he came to save us all. The Story is God’s Big story and covers over the course of 3 years the entire story of the Bible.

The Gospel Project chronologically teaches the majority of Bible narratives in three years. Emphasis is placed on Christ connections throughout scripture, to encourage children’s understanding of who God is and their relationship with Him. Gospel Project is hosted at the 10:10 Learning Community hour, and is adapted from Gospel Project curriculum.
