Join a Discipleship Group

Classes

Come as you are any week to these mid-sized groups where you can meet a variety of people and grow as a follower of Christ. Classes predominantly happen on Sunday mornings and some happen midweek. Teaching series range from a handful of weeks to a few months.

Small Groups

Make new friends as you learn to live your faith with a small group of people. Committing to gather for Bible study and prayer creates a place to care for each other’s life experiences as you grow in Christ. New groups form in the fall, new year, and spring. Some groups meet on a short-term basis, and others are ongoing.

New This Winter

Beginning in February

Do you feel stuck in your spiritual life or long for a deeper connection with God? Practicing the Way groups offer a unique opportunity to build community with others as you learn to be with Jesus, become like Him, and do as He did. Over nine weeks, you’ll discover practical, life-giving ways to integrate spiritual practices—like prayer, Bible study, and serving—into the rhythm of your daily life. Let’s be honest: our spiritual lives can start to feel stale or get disrupted by life’s changes. This course is designed to help you take the next step, whether you’re just beginning, feeling stalled, or looking for a fresh approach to connect with God. Join us on this transformative journey and rediscover the joy of following Jesus in a way that fits your life.

Midweek Classes & Small Groups

Monday Night Men’s Group

Mondays, 7:00-8:30 PM at VPC and Online

The Winter Series Resumes on January 6

We are guys of all ages coming together to study, grow, share, and care for one another and serve the community in which we live. We meet on Monday evenings to hear testimonies and teaching in a large group setting, then break into small groups for discussion and prayer. Pizza and popcorn are served for dinner each week so you can come straight from work if you need to. There is no homework, and you can join any week.

The men’s group resumes on January 6 with Pastor Robert Austell teaching a series on the 10 Commandments. Using Psalms, Jesus’ teaching, and one of the confessions of the church, we’ll explore these “rules to live by” that God gave His people. We will not only look at what is prohibited, but what is positively commanded, and what that looks like in the heart as well as in daily life. Combined with personal testimony and small group discussion and accountability, Monday nights are a real opportunity for blessing, encouragement, and growth!

Monday Night & Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Studies

Mondays, 7:00-8:30 PM and Tuesdays, 9:30-11:00 AM at VPC and Online

The Winter Series Starts on January 6 & 7

This winter, team teachers Kim Pattianakotta, Currie Renwick, and Meghan Reeves bring you a Bible study meant to inspire your faith in the unwavering sovereignty and love of God. Joseph’s story, as told in Genesis, is an incredible journey through betrayal, suffering, redemption and restoration. With each lesson, we’ll look for how God’s good purpose was at work through every twist and turn of Joseph’s life, preparing him to fulfill a greater plan. As we examine themes of forgiveness, resilience, and trusting God, we’ll be challenged to see God’s work in our own lives, assuring us that His intentions are for our good and His glory.

At the women’s Bible study, you’ll find a supportive and encouraging group of women of all ages ready to get to know you as they get to know the Bible. The group begins with a large group teaching, then splits into smaller groups for discussion and prayer. There is no homework, and you can join any week.
