Estate Planning Seminar

Everyone needs a will or a living trust, regardless of age or phase of life, but many of us postpone creating (or updating) our estate plan. VPC is hosting a free estate planning seminar in the Community Room in partnership with Financial Planning Ministry, a non-profit organization serving the Christian community since 1982. You will learn more about Wills and Living Trusts and how to protect your assets for the people and ministries you care about.  This workshop will make a seemingly complicated process very simple and clear. You will also:

• Attain peace of mind—ensure guardianship wishes for your children and distribution of your valuables are fulfilled.
• Decide whether you want money to go to the government or charities of your choice, while not decreasing gifts to heirs.
• Save money—on average, a living trust saves $2,400 to $60,000 in probate costs.

This service is a free gift from VPC to your family to help you be the best steward of all God has entrusted to you.

Class materials will be provided at the seminar. For those that attend, FPM will offer individual appointments via Zoom or phone call a few weeks later.  If you choose, they will create (or update) an estate plan for you.
