The Foundations class is a community with open hearts, open minds, and open doors, seeking Jesus’ guidance for our lives. Grow your roots in Christ with practical insights for how we can love God and love one another. The lessons in Foundations enhance your understanding of Scripture using prominent Christian books as a resource to engage in thoughtful discussion.
Current Series: The Book of Romans
Romans is the Gospel in a book. These 16 chapters are considered one of the most complete summaries of the Christian message and are a great source of knowledge of what it means to be a follower of Christ. The church has the opportunity and the responsibility to be an agent of peace in our divided society, and we need to draw nearer to Jesus to better reflect his healing light in our troubled world. Join us as we explore Romans and learn to see past patterns of division and point ever and always to the source of all love: Jesus.
Time: Sundays, 9:00-10:00 AM or 10:30-11:30 AM at VPC
Dates: The group meets weekly from September through May. The 10:30 class also meets on the 2nd Sunday of the month in the summer.
