Saturday, March 30, 10:00 AM – Noon; Great Falls National Park, VA
We’ll hike, we’ll see God in the beauty of His creation, we’ll pause to follow a spoken liturgy of Lent related prayers, and we’ll enjoy each other’s company. The trails on the Virginia side of Great Falls Park are rated easy-moderate on alltrails.com. You won’t need to bring gear apart from a water bottle, but you can bring the expectation of meeting God together in the great outdoors! Meet the hiking group at the Great Falls Visitor Center at 10:00 AM. Look for Kim Pattianakotta, the Director of Life Groups and Education.
Cost: The park has a $20 entrance fee per car and they also offer an annual pass for $35. There is some free parking in places outside of the park and you’ll need to walk in a couple of miles to the Great Falls Visitor Center. Nearby Riverbend Park has free parking as well as a small parking lot near the Difficult Run trail off of Georgetown Pike. Questions?
