An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Monday, repeating until November 6, 2023
At the women’s Bible study, you’ll find a supportive and encouraging group of women of all ages ready to get to know you as they get to know the Bible. The group begins with a large group teaching, then splits into smaller groups – life groups – for discussion and prayer. In your life group, you will learn to live your faith as you share about and care for each other’s life experiences.
Join us for WayMaker by Ann Voskamp
What if the question is never “What is the way out of this?” but “What way can I be in this?” When our dreams and expectations for life don’t match our reality, it can feel disorienting, as if we are being tossed by incoming waves without a way through. This seven-week Bible study, facilitated by VPC’s Director of Groups and Education, Kim Pattianakotta, teaches S.A.C.R.E.D.—a daily habit, a rule of life, a way of life—that will reorient your soul in relation to God through scripture, prayer, and study. This spiritual practice is a life-long guiding compass that will help you get your bearings whenever and wherever you feel lost. It’s a way to help you turn to Christ, your WayMaker, to find peace in the present and hope for the future.
Monday Meeting Time: 7:00-8:30 PM Dates: The group meets weekly from September through May; the Waymaker study will run from 9/18-11/6 Location: Learning Center in the lower level and simultaneously online at https://zoom.us/j/84689584290
How to Join: If you are new to the group, you can show up any week and be welcomed. Signing up is not necessary, though the group leader, Kim, will appreciate the opportunity to connect with you ahead of time if you fill out the form below.
Possible Childcare: We are evaluating childcare needs for the group and our potential to offer it. Please indicate on the sign up form if you are interested in using childcare if we are able to make it available. This will help us understand the need. Thank you!
