Adult Ministries Opportunities
One of the key components of spiritual formation (becoming more like Christ) is to talk with others about what we are learning. Our Sunday morning as well as our weekly classes and groups offer the opportunity to connect with others who are also working to connect God with their daily lives. Our range of classes strive to help participants connect with God, with each other, and with the world. In addition to study, we suggest each class has time set aside to have fun together and to serve together. They are also wonderful options for parents needing childcare! Why don’t you try one of these classes/groups out! If you need help finding a class that fits your interests, contact Deb at firstname.lastname@example.org or 703.938.9050 x 108.
Fighting Human Trafficking Small Group
The human trafficking small group will meet bi-weekly to pray, serve, and learn about the growing epidemic of human trafficking in Vienna, and the greater NOVA area. The group will be led by Dr. Megan Gerbracht who is a licensed clinical psychologist and a volunteer with VPC's new church partner organization NOVA HTI (Northern Virginia Human Trafficking Initiative.) Dr. Gerbracht works with survivors of sex-trafficking, helps run a support group for those who mentor survivors, and coordinates mental health training & volunteer efforts in NOVA in support of better care for those affected by human trafficking. Join others who are passionate about ending Human Trafficking in the Northern Virginia area. Alternating Wednesdays beginning Sept. 20. Contact us for meeting schedule and other details.
