Andrew Schmidt

Contemporary Music Director

Andrew serves as our Contemporary Music Director. In this role, he coordinates and directs the worship team and leads corporate worship on Sunday mornings. Andrew is a long-time VPC member and has been active in both music and youth ministry since middle school.

A graduate of Christopher Newport University and Johns Hopkins University, he currently works in public policy for a national conservation organization. Andrew is an avid golfer and hunter, and a lifelong Baltimore Orioles fan. He lives with his wife, Maddie, their two boys, and their dog.
