Sunday mornings, join us at Underground AM!
“Underground AM” is Sunday School for 7th-12th grade students.
We meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am in the Underground (church basement). This year, we are using “The Gospel Project” curriculum, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study for students that examines how all Scripture points to Jesus Christ. Rotating discussion groups are led by adult volunteers who are committed to partnering with parents in creating space for students to have vibrant, growing relationships with Jesus.
*Note: AM is suspended the first Sunday of each month so that families can partake in the sacrament of Communion together with the larger church body.
Sunday evenings, join us at Underground PM!
“Underground PM” is youth group for 7th-12th grade students.
We meet from 5:30-7:30pm in the Underground (church basement) for worship, games, and fellowship, followed by small group time. Our small groups are broken out by grade and gender and are co-led by adults who are committed to helping teens pursue an authentic faith.
Our small groups are open and you are welcome to join anytime!
The Gospel Project for Students
The Gospel Project® is a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study for Kids, Students, and Adults that examines how all Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ. Over the course of three years, participants will journey from Genesis to Revelation and discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today, compelling them to join the mission of God.
What is the Purpose of The Gospel Project?
It is possible to know all the Bible stories, and miss THE Bible story—of redemption through Jesus Christ …The purpose of The Gospel Project is to equip users to understand how all Scripture testifies to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus is not just part of the Bible Story, He is the point of the story
What is the intended outcome of The Gospel Project?
- Help people grasp the grand story of the Bible by tracing major themes and essential doctrines throughout all of Scripture.
- Help people understand and apply the gospel of Jesus Christ by exploring implications for life in every session.
- Help move people to mission by demonstrating proper responses to what God has done for us in Christ.
More information, check out The Gospel Project website. Under the Parents/Volunteers Tab, check out the “One Conversation” Guides, designed to support family conversations about the topics covered each week at AM & PM.
