Divorce is Difficult
Divorce can be one of the most emotionally difficult events a person can go through in life. It’s hard and hurtful and many times complicated. Ending a marriage can feel like a grenade exploding in your home and you are left trying to pick up all the pieces and put everything back together. The journey towards divorce can be exhausting and lonely. This journey is often accompanied by anger, grief, and loss. No one should have to travel this rough road alone. Divorce counseling and support groups can help.
Divorce Counseling and Support
Vienna Presbyterian Church is here to help during this difficult time. We believe that divorce counseling and divorce support groups can play an important role in your healing process. Divorce is not something a person gets over in a day. It takes time to process and heal from this significant loss in your life. We want to let you know that you’re not alone.
Our church offers a weekly Divorce Care Support Group to support those healing from divorce. While family and friends may find it difficult to understand your pain, the members of this group DO understand. It helps to share your story and the pain you’re experiencing. The members of this group are ready to walk with you during this difficult time.
Each week is a free-standing topic. You are welcome to start any Tuesday, and attend Any OR All sessions. The spring session begins on Tuesday, February 27 at 7:00pm. There is a $20 charge for the 13-week Session, which includes a very helpful workbook. We do offer scholarships because our primary goal is to help, support, and guide. Our non-denominational group meetings are held here at Vienna Presbyterian Church in room 324.
